    This is very …
    This is very disheartening. Especially so after the lessons we should have learned about corporate greed and its influence on politics from our countries current economic ruin.

    The Supreme Court …
    The Supreme Court decision allowing corporate campaign spending is not a matter of free speech. Corporations are not people. They are artificial legal entities, and they have bottomless pockets. They will be able to EXTORT every single politician in America for profit.

    If you think Washington is owned by the Banks and Wall Street now, just wait. We haven’t seen anything yet. First to go will be all consumer protections.
    If not changed, this will be the ultimate end of American democracy.

    The U.S. Federal …
    The U.S. Federal Reserve is a private corporation. Today the third largest line item in the federal budget, behind military and social expenditures, is interest paid on the national debt. We are taxed to pay that interest, and the profit made by the Federal Reserve can be used to influence elections because corporations are entitled to free speech? Something is wrong.

    They don’t have to …
    They don’t have to even set up dummy corporations. There are no restrictions for contributions from foreign corporations.

    - Each human ( U.S. …
    – Each human ( U.S. citizen ) within the
    corporations already can individually vote once, and
    speak out or donate anytime to or for their chosen
    political candidate.

    - Corporations are entities, and Not U.S. citizens.

    - Corporate VOICES are ALREADY HEARD on an
    individual HUMAN basis within the corp…
    - The court has mistakenly given foreign corporate
    ENTITIES the speaking voice rights of a
    U.S. HUMANs citizenship.
    - And so, what is a corp. ? – an entity ?..
    or a human U.S. citizen ?

    When votes of only …
    When votes of only five (5) non-elected single
    individuals can sell out Americas voting rights to
    foreign owned corporations who will most certainly
    sway uninformed future voters with big money . . . .
    . . . . it may be time for America to re-think about
    which decisions should be made by public ballot.

    As for corporate speech rights… ask an
    average corporate worker who labors at or just over
    minimum wage if their voice is heard as their
    CEO takes home multi millions $ each year.

    This country needs to remain in the hands of the American people.

    @chezking you are …
    @chezking you are so right!! but the otherside of the coin is that the Obama types will turn the USA into Haiti, maybe thats what you want…

  14. chezking Says:

    @NiteAngel For …
    @NiteAngel For those that see American politics as a team sport, your perceived victory will be the undoing of us all. This decision takes our already dysfunctional two part system and makes everyone dance to the tune of MONEY. The already flawed assumption of the holy private sector and it’s infinite wisdom will have the Eisenhower’s Military-Industrial complex and “our” shadow bankers in control of the only superpower on the planet.
    Corporations have no conscience, nor any national fidelity.

  15. NiteAngel Says:

    @2muchgametime …
    @2muchgametime YOUare so right when groups like ACORN get billions from the white house and then influence elections to get democrats elected, LOL then we got the new Black Panther Party looking over and hanging out at the voting sides, we will soon become another Haiti, Thanks to people like you!!! that care! that it all can be stopped…

  16. klingoncelt Says:

    So what’s to stop …
    So what’s to stop wealthy foreign interests from setting up dummy corporations in America, and getting their candidates elected?

    OPEC could pick our next President.

    -.- America is doomed.
