How did Obama finance his presidential campaign?

Posted on March 2nd, 2010 by admin

I know he opted out of the federal funding for presidential campaigns but how did lobbyists and PAC help him out or play a role in his campaign. I don’t understand why he made the decision to finance his campaign the way he did or what the significance of him doing so was. How was everything paid for?

You’d be surprised.

During his presidential campaign, Barack Obama built a wave of energetic supporters that helped sweep him into office. But could that current be turning the other way? Mike Gravel is having a mass day of donation on the 27th for his Presidential campaign?

Posted on February 24th, 2010 by admin

How well do you think he’s going to do? So far all his money for his campaign has come from his pocket or individual supporters. He refuses to accept big corporate donations so he really hasn’t been able to get his word out there.

So I guess he’ll raise twenty bucks instead of the usual five . . .

Does McCain realize that there is a Presidential campaign going on?

Posted on February 22nd, 2010 by admin

If so, then when is his campaign going to START moving?

Thoughts?

About a week ago, I read an article that stated top Republican leadership was quietly expressing their dissastisfaction to the McCain campaign just because they don’t think he’s been dynamic enough as a campaigner. They think he wasted a lot of time during the Obama-Cinton knockdown fight when he could have been portraying himself as a winner to the American people.

Several well-known Republican pundits, notably on the Fox News channel, have "joked" that if McCain wants to win, he will never give another speech.

So the poor guy is damned-if-you-do and damned-if-you-don’t. Exactly what is he supposed to do?

CIA Blackwater Op Infiltrated Ron Paul Campaign

The Wayne Madsen Report says that the CIA used Blackwater linked mercenaries as journalists in order to gather intelligence. Allegedly, two people working as sub-contractors to the CIA had significant links to Blackwater’s operations in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, and Iraq. So who are these individuals, what kinds of links did they have to these operations, and how were these agencies able to get away with this? RT’s Dina Gusovsky gets all the details from investigative journalist and RT contributor Wayne Madsen.

What would you have as a theme song for your presidential campaign?

Posted on February 20th, 2010 by admin

I would have Roadhouse Blues-The Doors for when traveling to different cities/towns, and for the campaign overall I would have The Battle of Evermore-Led Zeppelin.
Holy hell gone crazy people still listen to Pretty Hate Machine? I thought I was the only one!

ZZ Top – Tush

wat would progressives in 1912 ask of the presidential campaign?

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by admin

What are like 3 questions that progressives would likely ask candidates in the 1912 presidential campaign?

Probably the same thing todays "conservatives" would ask. Today’s progressive is tomorrows conservative. Progressives from 1912 were looking for the programs today’s conservatives are trying to protect.

is this the first time we have ever seen a presidential candidate campaign against a VP?

Posted on February 16th, 2010 by admin

I am 49 years old. I have NEVER in my time seen a presidential candidate campaign Against a VP!
this is a first in history!
Like hillary told obama sunday, "I will campaign more for you, but I will not attack Palin, She isnt running for office"

and no, you cant say that, Well if mccain dies she will be president, the same can be said about obama and thats a bogus excuse. For years, the candidates campaign against the other. NOT their running mates!

I am 54 years old and I agree. I have never seen this nor heard of such at thing. It only proves the effectiveness of the choice of Sarah Palin and the fear in Barack Obama.
