How is a presidential political campaign and example of marketing ?

Posted on February 20th, 2010 by admin

if you are paying attention, oblamea has not stopped campaigning yet. He is traveling more than any other president in history (when our economy is in the toliet, we get to pay for air force one to go from state to state) marketing his lies. Yet, he has not even brought up welfare reform, healthcare reform or tort reform.

Is it legal for a minor to contribute to a political campaign?

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by admin

I’d like to contribute money to a candidate in the Massachusetts Senate race, but I am a minor. Is it legal for me to contribute or would my parents have to do it?

In Massachusetts persons under age 18 may not contribute more than a total of $25 per calendar year to a political campaign.
If you want to give more, you need to do it through your parents or another adult. Keep in mind that only US citizens can contribute to US political candidates.

When is enough enough when it comes to political campaign calls?

Posted on February 16th, 2010 by admin

Martha Coakley’s campaign people called NON STOP the last few weeks sometimes as late as 9pm and often time several times a day even if the phone was answered….wtf? When do YOU think its overkill?

That’s extremely annoying; unfortunately, the campaigners find it to be effective. Personally, I don’t think politicians should be exempt from honoring the do not call list.

Why do individuals donate thousands of dollars to a political campaign?

Posted on February 9th, 2010 by admin

Pretty much what I am asking is what do the donators have to gain. Of course they want the person they are donating to to win, but is that the only reason? If someone could possibly highlight some of the main reasons thatd be awsome.

Future access…..

That’s why many companies donate to BOTH candidates – so they have access via their lobbyists no matter who wins.

Remember – it’s all about the money and power.
