Why shouldnt smear campaigns be illegal? Why vote for criminals why assume peoples sides?

Posted on February 24th, 2010 by admin

Nobodies perfect so is politics exclusively controlled by smear campaigns if not tell me any reason why not. Also how can anyone have honor in a campaign like that and if they tell the truth about everything what do you think would really happen to them? Instead of the usually deniability if a political person told only the truth about everything what do you think would happen?

In an ideal world, we would ban smear campaigns and force the candidates to state their true positions. But we don’t live in an ideal world. As for me, the more a candidate badmouths another, the more certain I am that I won’t vote for him or her.
If each told the truth about everything, nobody would get elected.

What are your thoughts on using CEO’s in marketing campaigns?

Posted on February 22nd, 2010 by admin

I’m wondering about the effectiveness of using CEO’s in marketing. Does it add to the credibility of the company? Why or why not? There are so many stories in the news about corruptive CEO’s. What are your thoughts on using CEO’s in campaigns?

I don’t think it hurts to use CEO’s in marketing campaigns. A lot of people in business are attracted to something just for the mere fact that a higher up Executive is.

The title itself is rather impressive…Chief Executive Officer.

A good majority of the population will never achieve this title. When it comes to advertising, it is wise to use any edge you have, to your advantage.

As far as many news stories about corrupt CEO’s, use this as an advertising spin. For example, "Are you sick and tired of corruption among big business hot shots? Me two! Take a look at these big time CEO’s who still have it when it comes to integrity…"
(Or something like that.) You get the idea.

Hope this helped you.

Can you aid political campaigns while in The Military Dep Program?

Posted on February 20th, 2010 by admin

I’m thinking of volunteering for several political campaigns at the state and local level. I ship out for boot camp November 12 and am wondering whether or not I am allowed to donate or volunteer or be otherwise involved in politics on that level?

Yes you can, you are not LEGALLY serving the military in any capacity until you "get on the bus".

You can ALWAYS donate money, donating time &actively recruiting for a campaign must stop when you ship out, and must remain that way until you are done with your contract.

How have the candidates campaigns influenced your vote?

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by admin

Are you steadfast in the party that you have chosen to support as a result of the campaigns or have you switched sides or has it made you undecided?

What was your make or break moment in picking a candidate to vote for?

When you see the degree of resolve Obama maintains depite the level of dirty politics coming from the McCain camp I think it speaks volumes about the kind of courage McCain/ Palin both lack.

When you see McCain supporters doing this:

and this:

and when even the secret service is called in to investigate threats from the kind of people turning McCain rallies into lynch mobs against Obama:

Still, he does not flinch. PLUS consider the polls? The guy’s indicating he’s going to be president.

Does it matter the source of funding for presidential campaigns?

Posted on February 16th, 2010 by admin

Given examples of personally-financed campaigns that also took special interest money, does it matter if candidates draw from (a) IRS donations, (b) party funds, (c) large corporate donations, (d) small citizen donations, or (e) self-finance; or should they simple grab whatever they can to pay the tens of millions of dollars required to win?

I don’t think Candidates should accept donations from foreign countries who are trying to influence our election.
In the 90’s 28 people went to jail for funneling money from the Communist Chinese government to the Clintons campaign.

Happy Valentine’s Day from EVOLVE! Campaigns

Posted on February 15th, 2010 by admin

As Valentine’s Day approaches, an old cliché comes to mind: Love is in the air. Yet what is seldom appreciated is that love is always in our genes, our chemistry, our evolutionary past, our very nature. This is true of many animal species, who also appear to partake in some rather romantic engagements. Enjoy these pics…
