Abortion is fine when done in the correct time frame.

I assume you are referring to any leftover money at the conclusion of the campaign.

I believe that if there is a surplus at the end of the campaign, the candidate has a lot of discretion with respect to this money. Typically, the money goes to fund another campaign, which could be that candidate’s campaign, another politician or simply the political party’s coffers. Generally, I don’t believe contributors get a refund.

What Keating received in return from McCain was never specifically nailed down, but McCain was admonished by the Senate Ethics Committee for showing "poor judgment." McCain used his own ethical problems to recreate his image by calling for campaign finance reform, co-sponsoring the popular if somewhat toothless McCain-Feingold Campaign Reform Act of 2002. Which he is violating at the present moment.

This was one of the biggest taxpayer swindles of all time, and it was aided and abetted by McCain and the rest of the Keating Five.

Of course, when Keating’s empire collapsed, it was the American taxpayer who was left holding the bag.

If this is true that any candidate gets to keep the campaign contributions if they decide not to run, no wonder they are dropping out like flies near a bug zapper.

Evan Bayh is a Democrat so he will keep it and spend it on himself, maybe he should give some of it to Hillary so she can pay off her bills she never paid off.

Jersey City deputy mayor, Leona Beldini, was convicted today of two of six counts involving illegal campaign contributions. The investigation hinged on a single government informant, Solomon Dwek, who secretly videotaped his meetings with Jersey City officials including mayor Jerramiah Healy. Beldini faces up to 20 years in prison. Her attorney, Brian Neary, spoke to the press saying that they will fight this. (Video by Adya Beasley / The Star-Ledger)

It just does not matter. It also doesn’t seem to matter where the Clinton’s get their money. Everyone is corrupt, its the American way.
Bill Clinton’s donors:
Saudi Arabia alone gave to the foundation $10 million to $25 million, as did government aid agencies in Australia and the Dominican Republic. Brunei, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar and Taiwan each gave more than $1 million. So did the ruling family of Abu Dhabi and the Dubai Foundation, both based in the United Arab Emirates, and the Friends of Saudi Arabia, founded by a Saudi prince.

Also among the largest donors were a businessman who was close to the onetime military ruler of Nigeria, a Ukrainian tycoon who was son-in-law of that former Soviet republic’s authoritarian president and a Canadian mining executive who took Mr. Clinton to Kazakhstan while trying to win lucrative uranium contracts.

He did it in 1996, It was WAY to "Coincidental" not to have happened, or will the Libs remain blissful in ignorance?

Slick Willy after he gets some serious "groping" done over there, he will indeed broker access to the technology they need for their Moon landing plans "if" you know who wins in ‘08.

Actually he’s there to do just that … pick up their Laundry List and do some serious Asian groping!
