Palin is now proven guilty of ethics violation. She is making speeches about ‘we know who the bad guys are” Isn’t it about time Obama/Biden showed America who the real Palin is?

Why waste hard-earned campaign dollars pitching something that the press is doing for you for free? Heck, its getting high billing on Fox News even!
Any intelligent campaign operative will spend money only where it will do good. Wasting money on Palin’s problems would be foolish.
In California haven’t seen one tv ad even during the primaries. Am using satellite but acquaintences who have cable report they’ve seen nothing so far either.
All I have seen are global warming/T. Boone Pickens commercials.
Yuma, AZ.
Or bashing of the others by candidates but yet from the looks of it on here the average Joe does it all the time? If you get right down to it this site is nothing but one big bash fest.
Regardless of what media pundits or the "average Joe" claims, negative campaigning works. Smearing the opposition has always been a time-tested tool to gain power. It’s the last (or sometimes first) means of winning when one lacks any sound ideas of one’s own.
An ad running in Wyoming highlighting Rep. Barbara Cubin’s relationship with Rep. Tom DeLay and convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff.

Seems anymore I know who believes in God, who’s cheated on their spouse, who’s paying off lobbyists, but no one is talking about how they stand on issues. Am I the only one frustrated by this? Besides voting strictly by party, how’s a person supposed to make up their mind?!
When I was in fourth grade, I remember reading a story about two boys running for class president. Homer made good grades, had a lot of friends, and could speak effectively about why he should be class president.. On the other hand, Johnny, the class bully, decided to run his campaign by putting signs up around the school such as, "HOMER EATS BUGS" and "HOMER IS DUMB".
The principal called Johnny to his office and said, "Johnny, you don’t win an election by tearing down the other candidate. You have to show everyone how good of a candidate you can be."
Johnny said, "Thanks! I’ll just take down the signs and tell everyone what a peach of a guy I am."
The principal said, "I said *show* them, not *tell* them."
Obviously, Homer won the election.
The analogy I’m making is that when it comes to the races in this election, particularly given the state of the political climate, keep in mind that ads put out by the campaign to re-elect Republican Congressman Jones are not about how great Republican Congressman Jones is. They’re about how awful Democratic Senator Smith is, and vice versa.
This ad provides a humorous take on John Kerry’s twisting in the wind

Are we that set against one candidate we want to believe anything said ?
Are we that lazy that we can’t research a fact?
Is it too difficult to find a good , accurate research site?
Personally I like research and also seeing how often ads stretch the truth or out & out lie………………
Makes me wonder how much we just accept …………..

Welcome to Earth. Politicians have been lying to get into positions of power ever since there were positions of power. Humans will usually believe what they’re told because most of us are emotional, reactive, and natural born followers.
He must realize that while he is talking, people can remember what they’ve seen on t.v. over the last few days. Why does he think anyone will take him seriously when he tells outright lies?
McCain can’t keep his story straight, so he thinks no one else can either.
