I need help with an Ad Campaign?
Posted on April 19th, 2010 by admin
I have to create two ad campaigns for one product. The product should be faily simple, and appropriate for a 10th grade classroom.
But I need help…
What should my product be and will I get an audience to want to buy it?
You need to choose a product that is easy to use and operate. Don’t pick any type of electronics anything that requires assembly or must be used with another product. in other words, no mp3 players, no video games, nothing expensive or large either. and kids don’t buy educational products, their parents do. So how about choosing something that you would buy, think like a buyer not a seller. what would make you want to buy it. have the product there and let everyone handle it, use it. If they hold it they create a bond with it and are more likely to buy it.
have fun and try to involve the class in any demonstrations. ask them if they have any ideas as to what else they could use it for.
Visit a couple of variety stores, or stores that sell novelty items.
just remember, to think about what you would buy, how much you would pay, and what would convince you to buy it if you weren’t sure. The rest of your classmates will probably feel the same way.
