sounds Great but the lag would be effinng Painful! end-turns would probably last for hours, the civil war idea would be great but encompassing the whole Globe already sounds overkill for most computers,

Yes, that’s why a Total War about the second part of the 19th century (1850-1900) will be a better idea (and the whole world as campaign map, even Asian and African continents, with colonial empires and new factions like China, Japan…).
And maybe a History mode with the Civil War, the chinese colonial wars… (like the Independance war in ETW), but not the campaign mode.
But a Total war focussed around the American civil war will be limited (only 4 years and 2 factions…)

sooo do u play online now? cuz if u just keep on playing skirmish mode thats nothing, in multi its wayyy more intense, you gotta make like 10 layers of wall around your city, get all the villys u can, get all the upgrades u can on economy, u have to be able to field 100 troops in 10 secs for like the whole time, and when u can make like 20 barracks near your enemys city and all that crap its really nerve racking, u actually get the feeling of one of those historic commanders

True but you really cannot pick on the PC computer itself mainly because over all it is a pretty good system for gaming. PCs control a large percentage of the market. I PCs and Macs but I just can’t stand the stupid fanboys and Im sorry but PC fanboys are one of the worse of them all.

When I say that PC FANBOYS are fascist Im not saying that they hate other religions, races, or anything to that degree. I am saying that they seem to think that there system is the best ever and if any one says stuff like “why don’t they make this game for Mac, 360, or PS3″ They just have to say “NO! and follow it up with something like “Your retarded because PC is better” or “FUCK *insert name of object that plays games here*”. That is true. PC games do get the most up to date graphics and there are some great game franchises like “Half Life, MYST, Civ, etc.” But you see, graphics are not every thing.

Yeah I’d love remakes of rome or medi. not a fan of the new gun powder musketness of the game, I loved the shiny armor and big swords =] i tryed as scotland once! but kept going into debt.

I never really worried about the church. Crusades again you always foil and are pretty easy to defend if you have a heft army! And I got into a habbit of taking castles near rome to kill the pope everytime a crusade was called against me, thus the crusade gets called off.
