Here's something hardly anybody ever does in class elections, but it always works: pick an issue, and run on that. It doesn't really matter what it is, cherry pie day in the school lunches, or relaxing of the dress code- just pick something that everybody cares about, and then after she gets elected make sure she really fights for it.
