I need some good slogans/motos and ideas on how to win my middle school presidential campaign?

Posted on January 26th, 2010 by admin

I am an actor, my name is Ben and I have some good ideas that will affect the school. I already have a campaign manager. So far 2 other people are running, one i have a chance against the other, is very smart when it comes to history and politics, and he is a great speaker. I am a good speaker too because i’m an actor. any suggestions?

Just be yourself, you sound like a smart person. Don’t try to be like a politician. Because nobody likes them.
Look what obama is doing!!!

If Obama got millions in illegal foreign campaign contributions, shouldn’t it be ok for republicans to do it?

Posted on January 26th, 2010 by admin

as well? To get contributions from all of our allies and trade partners that Obama has stepped all over?

Like Obama got money from Hamas, and the filthy rich European, Slavic, and Muslim billionaires and terrorists?

Equal Protection = if a law is not enforced on all equally, it is invalid towards all.

How do you feel about the ruling that corporations can now spend unlimited money on campaign advertising?

Posted on January 26th, 2010 by admin

Uhh, Unions have nowhere near the Capital of corporations, and they don’t really have a profit motive. Try to keep that in mind.

actually i think it is good. no more hidden corporate money. you will be able to see what corporation or special interest group is backing a candidate and you will be able to ask yourself "why are they backing a candidate, what has been promised. i want to see all the tap dancing if a real reporter will ask the candidates why the corporation is throwing so much money at them

how important is money when it comes for having a presidential election campaign?

Posted on January 26th, 2010 by admin

at the end is it all about the money? the more money and centrist the politician gets the higher chance he has of winning president, senator, etc.

As important as oxygen is to you making it through the day. Just getting on the ballot in the various primaries costs millions in organizational costs, filing fees, and other expenses. The ability to organize a fund-raising organization and attract donors is seen as one of the first big tests of any candidate. If you read about the 2008 campaign, you’ll see that the main thing that forced candidates out was the inability to raise enough funds to continue.

The traditional model is big blocks of donations from industry, labor, and other "deep pocket" groups. President Obama broke that mold by making it easy for individuals to donate and picking up a huge amount from small contributions.

How can we stop political campaign phone calls??

Posted on January 26th, 2010 by admin

We have the national do not call list, however polititians are exempt as well as those doing "polls". Is there anyone out there that can tell me where to start a campaign to STOP the calls so that the average working man can have their privacy and not get these annoying phone calls. ITS NOT FAIR that they are able to intrude into our homes. Intrude on my home phone of which I pay extra monthly to be private. THE LITTLE MAN MUST SPEAK UP AND STOP THESE POLITICAL SOLICITORS PERIOD.

First contact your local County Recorders office and tell them to remove your phone number from your Voter Registration. Also tell them you want to "opt-out" from all mailings, emails and phone calls.

Second contact the party (Dem/Rep) and tell them you want to "opt-out" of all of their mailings, emials and phone calls.

It’s too late for this election but hopefully it will reduce the number of annoyances on the next election.

Why is the Iraq war no longer mentioned in the current presidential campaign?

Posted on January 24th, 2010 by admin

The US of A is involved in an immensely costly, in terms of American and Iraqi lives and dollars (final cost of the war, **should it end today**, would be over $1.5 trillion: an insane amount!) armed conflict. Initially, this farce of a war was a major item of debate in the presidential battle, but then it vanished almost completely. There is more going on here than meets the eye: yes the financial meltdown is important, but why were both candidates so eager to drop the little matter of an ongoing war (ok, 2 of them, counting Afghanistan) so quickly and thoroughly?

Bush’s plans for withdrawal now match Obama’s for one thing. And it’s clear the Iraqis will not sign an agreement to legitimize our continued occupation, which may leave us no political option other than withdrawal. So it’s probably a non-issue unless McCain is elected and decides to stay for 100 years without the approval of the Iraqi puppet government..
