Why do people hate negative campaign ads so much?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I love them! I want to hear about all that stuff. It’s all stuff you need to know. Don’t get me wrong, I want to hear about issues, but I want to know what type of distractions a candidate might have should he be elected.

Because after a while it becames a little sicken listening to look look at what skeltons he has to hide when it should be look at what I have done let my record speak for it’s self.

What are some eye-catching and funny campaign slogans for a High School class election?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I really want to do something funny. One person at our school made a sign that said:

SEX – now that I have your attention, vote for [me].
FREE DRINKS ON ME (He hung it over the water-fountain).

I’m running unopposed so my slogan is "[Me] the ONLY choice."

But I still want to put up some funny signs. Any ideas are appreciated.

you should copy dakota.

Do people make money off presidential campaign?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I’m trying to figure out why it’s the most overrated campaign/election. No one seems to wanna vote on the local levels. So are there incintives for campaigning, I know alot of money can be spent on campaigning, but what is really going on.

The dis-honest news media & advertisers get rich, from supporters contributing to candidates, & the candidates spend the contributions, to compete with each other.

If it was up to me I would outlaw political contributions…….but that would be communism, wouldn’t it.

Where can I find a breakdown on campaign contributions for the presidential race?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

I know that Obama and Clinton are running neck and neck in terms of fundraising to date – with Edwards a distant third. My question, however, is where can I find a SPECIFIC breakdown on WHERE these donations are coming from? I suspect that Clinton’s are mainly from PAC/special interest groups. I’m curious as to which candidate has received the most funding from individuals, particularly donations in the $25-500 range. Many thanks!

Clinton, Romney & Mc Cain all opted for extensions to the filings due to the Government Ethics Committee declaring some of their holdings including Blind Trusts include conflict of interest.
You may never see these disclosed but no fear, they will leak out. Normally candidates were always forthcoming about tax reports etc. Campaign Reforms have made some changes tuff (McCain co-authored the bill ? he will disclose once all is sold off) Capital Gains Taxes will eat the profits alive especially the Clintons $$ from 1983 it was sizable.
The above sights once updated will help. Be patient. No one is giving up anything easy this election.

If an advertising campaign can attract 100,000 to 500,000 potential customers what is a fair rate to charge?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

This would be a website. What is fair to charge? Would one charge Mexico businesses differently than American businesses?

It depends precisely on the niche that it is the average revenue of each potential customer. If I am selling a $100k car and you give me 1000 leads, I may pay 100k for it, but if I sell toothbrushes, I may give you 10 bucks for it

After the worst Presidential election campaign in recent memory, will Republicans reconsider hate politics?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

And why has Karl Rove become one of the chief contributors for Fox news? America has been shown the pure poison that makes up the republican party. Will you ever learn?

Hate??? Republicans??? Are you kidding?

Its been democrats that are pushing the hate agenda. They hate Palin, they hate Bush, they hate Joe the Plumber. They try to spread fear of conservatives as hate-mongers. It simply isn’t true.

If we learned one thing from this election, it is that moderation doesn’t work. One of the biggest complaints about McCain (and for a large extent Bush) is his overriding ideology of bipartisanship. We cannot give in on our principles of conservativism… that is when we get in trouble.

If I contribute to a political campaign, can I get my money back if my candidate withdraws from the race?

Posted on December 31st, 2009 by admin

What happens to the money still left in the candidate’s campaign war chest after he/she announces withdrawal from the race?

I am sure if you want your 5 bucks back they will give it to you. Anyways, if you really gave, which is a stupid thing to do, any money left over when the person wins or drops out goes to pay any debt, any money loaned to the race by the perosn themself, and whatever is left goes to either the RNC or DNC. The candidate is not allowed to keep any. Sometimes, if the candidate is the only person left in the race and they win they donate it to charity. And last but not least, the other option they have is to keep it in a campiagn chest for their run in another election.

How much money has each campaign raised and spent on this presidential campaign?

Posted on December 28th, 2009 by admin

I know that John McCain is limited to 84.1 million dollars between the primary and election day but I am having a hard time finding out how much Barack Obama has to spend. I am trying to find out how much more money the Obama campaign has because he did not take the public financing. Please no political lectures here, I’m just trying to find the facts. I would like to have links to sites to confirm too. Thanks. You guys rock!
Well, it has been 3 days and so far no one has been able to actually answer the question with anything to back it up.
I am looking for some sort of proof, links, documents, something I can quote and use as a source. It is strange that the data is easy to find on the republican side but trying to find out how much money Obama has is proving difficult.
Please, please, please. Links, links, links. That information has to be out there somewhere!
How much money does each candidate have at his disposal during the course of this campaign?
