What is pork in the political campaign ads?

Posted on October 29th, 2009 by admin

When you see and ad from the McCain team they talk about pork that the Obama team wants to add to our taxes. WHAT IS PORK?

Pork is unnecessary spending by Congress on their pet project. Obama voted for a $3 million overhead projector for the Chicago Planetarium. Pelosi tried to amend the bailout bill to give ACORN public funds. That is pork.

How do I find this marketing experiment video? A couple guys need to create a taxidermy ad campaign.?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

The guys take a pre-mapped trip to an office building and are told to design an ad campaign for a taxidermy company. Along the way, there are visual cues that eventually "inspire" the final design. I saw the video a while back, and haven’t been able to find it.

Sorry — I tried for
over 10 minutes
just for you, and
I was not able to
find anything.

How does one build an ad campaign?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

What are the components of an ad campaign and who can build one for me? What does it involve and what is the cost?

Hi,

I have a possible suggestion regarding launching a major ad
campaign and effectively increasing your web presence if
you have a website.

No matter what site or business you have, you’ll be a HUGE
presence on the web just like the big guys for only a
few hundred dollars.

SEO, articles, videos, social websites, press releases, link building and much, much more!

They do all the marketing and promotion for you while you sit back and rake in your $ales! Just leave all the traffic generating to them.

And they have great customer service too!

What is the difference between political campaign ads, media companies and lobbyist?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

Its a question I need to know for a project, but since I’m not really into politics I wanted to know people’s opinion on the question! Otherwise where can I find the definiton to each one?
Thanks!

Lobbyists are people that actually collect information and present it to legislators. they also make campaign contributions and give other gifts to curry favor with influential members. They are definitely not camplign ads although they may make them.

media companies own newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations, and by now probably majoe web sites. They sell advertising space or time to candidates for the candidates’ political campaign ads, The may even produce them.

Campaign ads are commercials for candidates or political wedge issues like abortion or gay marriage.

What can we do about false campaign ads/slogans ? ?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

I’m an independent, I’ve voted since the 1976 election. A Republican has been in office the majority of the years since. Every election the Republicans say don’t vote Democrat because they will raise your taxes. I remember George H. W. Bush’s famous campaign slogan, read my lips " no more new taxes." Our taxes have been going up and we’ve gotten news ones ever since.
That’s just one example, there are more and from the other side also.
How can we hold politicians accountable for giving campaign ads/slogans, just to get votes, they don’t keep when elected ?

We need to pass a new law in the Congress of the United States of America that says that candidates who seek to be elected to be President, Vice President, Senator, or Congressman, will be subject to recall by the voters for that elected office, if it can be clearly determined by a reasonable person, that they blatantly violated a promise made to the votes during their election campaign, without any imperative need or reasonable cause to do so.

Is there a website which has a comprehensive database of all donors of the 2000 Presidential campaign?

Posted on October 27th, 2009 by admin

In the past I’ve seen websites for various campaigns which list who donated how much to whom and also gave addresses etc. I am looking for a comprehensive list of all donors for the 2000 Presidential campaign, specifically for everyone who donated to George Bush’s campaign. Does such a site exist on the internet?
